November Project NY — Team Not Too Fast Not Too Furious
April 14 2017 // Thomas Jefferson Park, East Harlem, NYC
You fly into a city for work, pleasure, or pain (family) and you need to workout. With most major cities in Canada and America, it’s easy. November Project. I’m in Brooklyn for two weeks, guess what I’m hitting on Wednesday & Friday?
I hop the 7 train from Queens after crossing the Pulaski Bridge, transfer to the 6, leaving me a 4 block rip to get to Thomas Jefferson Park in East Harlem. I’m running late, so I’m running. Obvs. This is my first November Project NY workout since a few weeks ago when I was in town and caught the fam at Gracie Mansion. A few faces look familiar, but I’m terrible with names, so I feel like a first timer again. That doesn’t matter though. Hugs, high fives, and acceptance. Everyone is welcome. Always.
Today I brought my camera though. I want to workout, but I also want some photos. I love shooting NP because every photo is filled with positivity and smiles, or straight up pain—hardly anything in-between. Camera in hand I plank, actually shooting a few frames you see below without breaking my plank. I channel my inner Steven Csorba and get a good set, all without really slowing down my workout. Success!
The NP family is the best. Just show up. It’s that simple.
