November Project Boston — Harvard Stadium
April 16 2017
Harvard Stadium, Boston, MA
You’ve all seen the photos, and if you haven’t then you aren’t following November Project Boston on the socials and stuff, so you might want to rectify that. It’s stairs at Harvard Stadium on Boston Marathon Sunday; at the hottest point of the day; with the sun highest in the sky…fuck yeah!
I use the term hot as balls often…like a lot. But on this particular Sunday before the 2017 Boston Marathon, it really is hot as balls. 30C (no I’m not going to convert that shit to fahrenheit for you Americans), and bloody humid. Thanks to a magical moment in Penn Station at 2:30AM this morning—or the night before depending on how you look at it—Sierra is able to give me the lowdown on this bonus November Project workout.
Now I have big plans today of taking in a Red Sox game, and biking the 42.2KMs of the Boston Marathon course to scout shooting positions for the race tomorrow.
Perhaps I am biting off more than I can chew.
Perhaps I shouldn’t be out here running up and down the stairs trying to do this amazing facility justice.
But what am I going to do, turn down the chance to make this epic 36 hour trip to Boston more epic? That’s like epic squared.
Enjoy the photos because I paid for them. Paid dearly. Paid in the form of heat exhaustion, questionable decision making capabilities, and hugging the porcelain throne all night Sunday. But that’s a story over beer and tacos. Mmmmm I friggen love tacos. I digress. Thank-you Sierra for the 411 on the workout, and thanks for everyone for smiling in every single photo. Y’all barely even look like you’re working out. That’s a joke by the way. Harvard Stadium is no joke. Total champs.
