Getting some Layover.Run training in. Running. Stopping and starting. Eating and drinking shots of espresso…you gotta practice abusing your body with this shit.
Taking photos efficiently. Processing and posting live. This is what today’s run is all about. The Canon EOS R is definitely lighter than a 5D…I could be convinced. I am battling with my gear setup, and while I love the mirrorless option, I hate the idea of using an adapter, it feels like an electronic versus a tool like the 5D/1D, and I just might not get used to a screen for a viewfinder. Enough camera geek speak.
I’m trying.
It is Black Friday, and I consume less than most, so I also wanted to do what I can to support some local folks who make our lives better, and #yeg a better place to call home. Thank you especially to @farrowsandwiches for being spaced just far enough apart to justify the food below.
Lastly, today’s silliness is ran on the anniversary of a 50 mile Layover.Run overnight around Seattle, connecting to Sacramento. I did that on the way to documenting CIM β you can read all about it here.
Good times.
Thanks for being a fun, willing, but unknown participant in my morning of practicing stupid shit @farrowsandwiches. For the record, this is what I consumed on today’s run. With only a sip of water between legs, a shockingly low amount of liquid.

Thanks to those replying to my IG stories. I’m glad I can supply a little bit of light in your dimly lit offices, cars, and other vestibules you find yourselves locked in, while I romp around the snowglobe that is Edmonton this morning.
That was fun.
